Athanasios Lazarou is a philosopher of architecture and Senior Lecturer in Architecture at Curtin University School of Design & Built Environment. His work explores the relationship between politics and space, examining the spatial ecologies through which social relations are produced and spatial violence takes shape. Working across architecture, art and design, he practises as an educator, writer, curator and artist. He is a former Co-Chair of Runway Journal and Co-Director of FELTspace gallery, and his writing and creative work have appeared in Architecture Australia, Landscape Architecture Australia, Kerb Journal, Artlink, Monthly Review, and The Little Machine.
