Athanasios (Nasi) Lazarou is a curator and lecturer. They are a lecturer in architecture at the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, University of Adelaide, and a co-director of FELTspace gallery, Adelaide’s oldest ongoing artist-run-initiative. They teach across the history/theory, design studio and representation curricula as a lecturer in architecture, of which they hold a PhD in architectural history and theory. They regularly curate, commentate and contributes to a range of public events across architecture, art and design practice and have extensive experience as an organiser and administrator of exhibitions and events. Their industry engagement understands the power of art and architecture as a force for shaping culture. Their writing has appeared in numerous spaces including Green Left Weekly, Architecture AU, Monthly Review and The BitterSweet Review.
